EPA is considering adding H2S back into section 313 Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) regs.  This might mean WWTPs would have to report H2S and might then lead to EPA adding H2S back onto the CAA list of toxics. If it was added to list of toxics it could have big impacts since many WWTPs would be over the H2S emission limit that could trigger need for controls.

In February 2010, the Final Rule for the Renewable Standard Program was signed.

This rule makes changes to the Renewable Fuel Standard program as required by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA). The revised statutory requirements establish new specific annual volume standards for cellulosic biofuel, biomass-based diesel, advanced biofuel, and total renewable fuel that must be used in transportation fuel.

The Strategic Growth Council's  Proposed Final Sustainable Communities Planning Grant Guidelines are now posted on the SGC website for final review:

Comments will continue to be accepted through the Council's March 17th meeting when they will consider the Guidelines for adoption.

 Staff of the Air Resources Board (ARB or Board) invites you to participate in a public workshop to discuss potential amendments to the Stationary Compression Ignition Engine Air Toxic Control Measure (ATCM). ARB staff is currently investigating the feasibility and costs associated with the existing requirement in the ATCM that requires new emergency standby engines to meet the Tier 4 emission standards as specified in the Off-Road Compression Ignition Engine Standards (title 13, California Code of Regulation (CCR), section 2423) once those standards are effective.
